Group is excited to announce Dr. Kelsey Sharpe
has joined us as an associate general dentist!

Dr. Sharpe was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Following high school graduation in 2001, Dr. Sharpe ventured
to Omaha, Nebraska, where she attended Creighton University.
As an undergrad Dr. Sharpe pursued her degree in chemistry;
however, after three years she entered into Creighton
University’s School of Dentistry.
On May 10, 2008, Dr. Sharpe graduated cum laude from Creighton’s
School of Dentistry. Dr. Sharpe received multiple awards
including the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Student Award for
the exceptional female dentist presented by the American
Association of Women Dentists and the Quintessence Award
for Restorative Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Sharpe was
inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental
Honor Society.
Dr. Sharpe is excited about her move to Minnesota, and
enjoys meeting patients of all ages. She is currently
accepting new patients. Outside of work, Dr. Sharpe enjoys
spending time at the lake. She is an avid water-skier
and also enjoys wakeboarding, rollerblading, and many
other outdoor activities |
New Computer Program
As of April 7, 2008 Valley Dental Group implemented a
new computer system called Improvis. This new system offers
improved services including easier to understand statements,
more accurate estimated patient portions, walk out statements
that will identify treatment and payments received the
day of service, just to name a few.

ViziLite® Plus
Valley Dental Group now offers an enhanced oral cancer examination
technology utilizing the ViziLite® Plus system. This procedure
assists us to make detection of oral cancer, precancerous
lesions and other oral abnormalities at a very early stage,
where early treatment is most beneficial. When oral cancer
is found at the earliest stage, treatment is quick, simple,
less invasive and often times more than 90% successful.
We recommend the enhanced ViziLite® Plus exam be done
on an annual basis.
