Dr. Evensen started practicing dentistry at Valley Dental Group in 1989, and became a partner in 1996. Dr. Evensen practices general dentistry with emphasis on preventative, restorative, and cosmetic aspects. He has enjoyed providing lifetime care to many patients over the 25 years, and finds it especially satisfying when he can help people achieve a better quality of life by helping them improve their oral health and smile.
Dr. Evensen chose a career in dentistry due to the fact that he didnt want to sit behind a desk all day, and he wanted to interact with people and use his hands.
Through out the years, Dr. Evensen has continued teaching dentistry part time at the University of Minnesota as well. He enjoys teaching and mentoring, and has provided years of guidance to new dentists.
In his spare time, Dr. Evensen enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters doing outdoor activities, golfing, Twins baseball and Packer Football! (Vikings fans, please do not hold that against him!)
Its been a great 25 years, and we look forward to many more!
